Position summary

The Account Executive is part of the Business Development team. As a team, they focus on acquiring new business within their target CPM markets. As an Account Executive, you will be co-responsible for acquisition of new business within an outlined focus area.

What you’ll do:

  • You will be responsible for a distinctive industry, set of accounts or value proposition with clear sales targets on expected revenues and deals.
  • You will have an active and distinctive role in closing deals led by yourself or in cooperation with senior sales /partners.
  • You will support senior sales/partners in lead generation, prospecting, pipeline management, proposals, pre-sales management and vendor management.
  • You know and understand the main differences between our value propositions.
  • You know and understand the differences between the target audiences (from large enterprises to (lower) mid-market companies).
  • You have a growing network among vendors and prospects; that ensures a conversion from leads into deals.
  • You strengthen client and vendor relationships through regular engagement and face-to-face meetings.
  • You initiate and manage events and user groups to generate market interest.
  • You proactively spot new sales opportunities and discuss them within the Business Development team.
  • Work in partnership within the Business Development team of Business Developers, Pre-sales and Marketeers for all sales leads and sales opportunities.

What you’ll bring:

  • 3 – 5 years of experience in an Account Executive role, ideally with a CPM software/IT background with emphasis on customer acquisition and positioning of complex enterprise applications (e.g. SAP, Oracle, IBM, Tagetik, or OneStream).
  • Credibility at all levels and evidence of building strong relationships internally and with the customer.
  • Background in business development at a consultancy firm is welcome, but not a necessity.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to build influential relationships and deliver results in a cross-functional environment.
  • High motivation, resilience, and ambition to build a career at cpmview.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
